Present Simple vs Present Continuous – Reading

Sophie usually works at a travel agency in the city. She answers emails, helps customers plan their holidays, and often talks to people from different countries. Every day, she starts work at nine o’clock and finishes at five.
Right now, however, Sophie is not in the office. She is working from home because the agency is renovating the building. At the moment, she is talking on the phone with a client who wants to book a trip to Spain. While she speaks, she is checking flight prices online.
Sophie likes her job because it is interesting, and she meets many people. She often dreams about travelling herself, but today she is staying at home with her laptop and her coffee.
